Introduction

Tanzania Commission for Science and Technology (COSTECH) is a public institution established by an Act of Parliament No. 7 of 1986. By the Act COSTECH is mandated to promote and coordinate research, promote technology development transfer, acquisition, storage and dissemination of scientific and technological information to the general public.

The objective of this position is to ensure that all publications, printed or electronic coming out from the Commission are of good editorial standards.

Qualification

• Postgraduate qualifictions at Masters or PhD level.
• Should have at least 3 years experience in editorial work
• Strong communicaton and writing skills
• Knowledge and experience in ICT skills

Remuneration

The position is substantive duty position. it will be re categorized into Parastatal Researchers Scheme of Service and Salary Scales in position and salary negotiable according to qualifications ranging from Research Officer Grade I to Principal Research Officer Grade I. Salary scales will range from COSS 7 to COSS 14
