Job Summary
Currently ABG has open positions in the Mining Maintenance Section at Tulawaka Mine site.

We are seeking dedicated and self motivated and highly organized Underground Electricians to join the Mining Team at Tulawaka to interact with the entire Mine site, To carry out all prescribed duties safely and efficiently, in accordance with company policy. To ensure that all activities are carried out in conformance with African Barrick policy, especially in the cultural, safety and environmental policies & all project consent & legislative requirements

Report line: Underground Mechanical Supervisor.

Work schedule: Rotational Status (6 Week on / 3 Weeks off)

Qualification
  • FTC Certificates or Trade Test Grade1 in the relevant discipline.
  • Work experience of 2 to 4 years in a reputable company.
  • Problem solving skills
  • HV experience up to 22kv with regards to, splicing & terminating is essential.
  • Experience in underground communication networks will have an added advantage.
  • Underground experience in electrical distribution is essential 
  • Experience in diagnosing faults and implementing changes to VFD/VSD drives
  • A valid Tanzanian Driving License.
  • Decisiveness, Resilience and Resourcefulness
  • Fluent in English and Swahili
